PSU Heads bid farewell to Resident Manager of Oriental Insurance

A meeting was organized by the Heads of Govt of India owned Public Sectors Units working in Kuwait, to bid farewell to Siddhartha Mukherjee, Resident Manager of Oriental Insurance, Kuwait, who has been transferred to India. Siddhartha Mukherjee joined Kuwait in March 2014, from Singapore, after a successful tenure of over five years; he has been transferred to Oriental Insurance Office in Mumbai, India. It has been the practice of the PSU Heads in Kuwait to organize farewell meetings to the Heads of PSUs and Govt of India Officials leaving Kuwait. During the tenure of Mr Mukherjee, Oriental Insurance, Kuwait could see a good growth in their operations. Heads of PSUs spoke about the good qualities of Mukherjee and recollected their association with him. In his address Mukherjee shared the great moments of his stay in Kuwait, and thanked the organizers for arranging a befitting farewell to him.

A grand welcome was accorded to Anil Parasher the new Resident Manager of Oriental Insurance, Kuwait. Prior to this assignment, Parasher was the Resident Manager of Oriental Insurance at Qatar.

PSU heads adorned shawls and expressed their camaraderie to both the Resident Mangers.

Govt of India owned six PSUs , viz LIC International, New India Assurance, Oriental Insurance, TCIL, Air India & LIC Housing Finance have been working in Kuwait, since many decades these organizations have been providing delightful service not only to the Indian Diaspora but also to the Citizens of Kuwait.

Ram Mohan Reddy, Chief Operating Officer, New India Assurance, Devesh Kumar, Country Head, LIC International, Anish Agarwal, Country Head, TCIL and Neeraj Bhargav, Resident Manager, LIC Housing Finance, spoke on the ocassion.

The meeting concluded with vote of Thanks rendered by Ram Mohan Reddy
