IndiGo to launch Mumbai-Kuwait flight from August 5

Budget carrier IndiGo on Monday announced that it will start six new international flights connecting Delhi and Mumbai with cities in middle-eastern countries.

The new flights would be on Delhi-Jeddah, Mumbai-Kuwait and Mumbai-Dubai routes, the airline said.

"Effective July 25 and August 5, IndiGo will launch daily non-stop flights connecting Delhi with Jeddah, and Mumbai with Kuwait," the low-cost carrier said in a statement." Additionally, to cater to the increasing demand from the sector, the airline will also launch its third non-stop daily flights between Mumbai and Dubai," it added.

"These new routes once again reflect our unflinching commitment towards expanding our international operations," said William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo.

"Our mission is clear: to boost economic growth in India, and help promote trade, tourism and mobility. These are exciting times for the industry and we are optimistic of the many opportunities that will enable us to contribute towards India's socio-economic growth," said Boulter.

Not bad, please consider the route "Kuwait to Lucknow". At least weekly twice or thrice will be better and also have to review prices, as service econamical but charging full board.

Initially they operated with very attractive prices. Now they started looting us charging fare equivalent to Full service airline. Indian Govt. must intervene and bring the charges under control. Its really ridiculous.

IndiGo Airfare with no-meal is almost close to the other rich airlines, the main issue is rescheduling charge which is too high as it considers as a cancellation charge.
Don''t purchase it if expect any date change/cancellation.

Indigo is no more a budget carrier.
Initally they started operations from Kuwait to India a year ago with very attractive prices.
But now they are in par with the other airlines.
They are even more expensive as they do not offer food & drinks. Just water.
So people, think twice before booking your tickets.
