Fine, hope the same from you.

Hope you are doing well and busy with your programmes. How is your life going on?

Sir, today I have seen your article in Times of India (Cbe Edn) about the Opportunities in Marine Sciences. Its very useful for the students. I am happy to see your article.

I have shown the same to my father also. He was also very happy and asked to convey his best regards to you. I have sent a mail to your address ([email protected]), but, it got bounced. Could you please let me know your correct id?

Dr Neelamani..

I just had a chance to browse this site today and I am very proud to know that an Indian, especially a fellow Coimbatorean achieving this prestigious award. Again, you made our country proud when your name was mentioned after our presentations during Kuwait Lab Tech international Conference in SAS Hotel in Feb, 2011. You are a perfect example for inspiring youth to prove 'Muyarchi Thiruvinayakkum' and your life history reminds me of many similar stories in village schools who have reached 'from rags to riches' now.

When I first met you in Kuwait University in 2008 in Land Degradation Conference, you were so humble, simple and your potential talents were not visible. I congratulate you for all your research service to Kuwait, KISR and for conducting advanced training sessions for students and employees.

Thanks to IIK for bringing such Indian talents to public view!!

I am very proud say that I have worked(little contribution for measurement) for his PH.D and OWC installation at near Trivandrum. We have taken training at DHI Denmark for about a month. I never see him in Angry face. I was supposed to work along with him at KISR by his invitation. Due to personal problem, I couldn't make it.

I plan to join with him in the nar fiuture(New Year 2011).

WE WISH HIM A GOOD LUCK in his career to contribute more to KISR, KUWAIT and the world.

Best regards and Wishes from M.Santhanam, IITM

happened to log in iik and read art. Surprised in Kuwait such a qualified intellectual got recognition. Generally Kuwaitis do not care of of qualification and a qualified Indian intellectual will be wasting his career in Kuwait. Generally they do not have any idea about IITs etc and do not care. Egyptian Mohandis's are good enough for them - Mishref Sewage plant was run by an Egyptian Mohandis ??(and so I hear are the drinking water treatment plants ??) . Some Indians have become successful in Kuwait because they have articulated their PR and political skills and not because of intellect or qualification. If the ruling establishment could appreciate many such intellectuals, Kuwait would have been a great country to live in.

Gulf countries or say Middle East is a heaven for the rejects. Those who failed to make money in their own country came here and make bucks.More over qualification & Experience is not a criterea here in Kuwait. We can hardly find an IIT Graduate or IIM Guy here in Q8.why? 'coz though they get a cushioned job they never get recognition.I heard about Dr.Neelamani's article regarding deep sea cabling.I wondered how a person of such calibre working in Q8.Instead they use to get migrated to Europe or US.whether scientist or doctor or engineer or common man money solve most of the problems in life. not social status.I remember the words of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam. He is the real Indian.

I knew little bit when I have been playing volleyball (Kuwait) with you. But I have read your interview in this website IIK, what a great personality you are! You are an ideal role model for all of us. Indeed I realize after going through this interview I remembered a slogan delivered by Microsoft Corporation Chairman BILL GATES, " ?????? ???????? ???????? ????? ?????? ???? ????????????? " This award is a great achievement for your hardwork. I am really very proud of you. I pray god, "bless you and your family long live", to get many more miracles in your life.

Dear Sir,

It is great achivment - a motivation of settling back in village for service purpose.

Many current student/parents should note the point that you have studied in Govt School and college. It is not where you study- it is how you study...Perfect Example.

His humble background and the heights to which he has raised himself by his hard work should serve as an example to every school going child in india.I am very much moved by this article.

I also take note of his appreciation of german work culture. That is why germany has the highest per capita income with least number of working hours.
