My Experience with IIK
I moved to Q8 5years ago, no frnds no fly & I knw life wasn’t going to be easy. I decided to strt wrkng & browsed thru every newspaper posting CV on job sites but few call backs. Thn I hrd abt IIK & immediately regstrd my email & got a classified postd for a job & the calls strted pouring in. I was happy as it got me motivtd to apply to mre companies helping me brush my skills for an interview. IIK soon became part of my evryday life. I visited the site not only for a job or news but for its classifieds and stories. The forums hlpd me refer to probs not only wat I was facing but helpd me understand wat ppl go thru everyday. I got free consultn/responses to many of my queries some silly othrs very helpful and got to post my experiences/suggestions too with ppl’s queries. I lrnt more about plcs to visit, dine outs, evnts & the various assoctns. IIK was a refrnce to everything - exchnge rate, sending gifts etc. IIK has grwn not only in the no of readers & a new section for kids but also strting an open house for its oppressed citizens. IIK has been supportive in encouraging people of all ages to take part in various writing & drawing skills be it on republic day, Valentine’s Day or a contest on a cruise liner. I want to wish IIK all the very best in bringing not only awareness (through its various columns) among people of various communities but also teaching us to share in the culture, heritage, brotherhood & friendship of India. Can’t wait to see what IIK comes out next with
