dear all,
i am currently in the process of planning for my family''s relocation in september and am seeking accommodation in the form of a 2-bedroom apartment. i am exploring the possibility of getting a flat on rent and would like to inquire if there is an option to secure the rental agreement now, with payments commencing in/from august when i plan to shift. this arrangement would help me avoid paying rent for the months leading up to august.

1. if your daughter is 20+ (some courts in kuwait condition it to 18+) and are muslim then the local courts of kuwait (nearest to your area) will issue the unmarried certificate for you for 1 kd. you will have to go there with your daughter present. for ahmadi court, it is on ground floor, room (office) no 24 where women officers will issue the certificate for you on ministry of justice''s letter head. please note that for non-muslims, the local shariah courts do not grant this service. instead, you will have to go to paci main office at liberation tower 2nd floor and they''ll issue the same certificate for you for 1 kd.
do note, that you''ll need original civil id
2. an alternative method is to do it through the sahel app. i''m unable to post pictures here but those interested can download the pdf instruction file [with images] from here: https://tinyurl.com/4zuxaptr
2.1) open your daughter''s sahel app and go to khidmaat section (2nd option at the bottom from the right hand side)
2.2) then scroll down until you find wazaratul `adl (ministry of justice - completely red background with the logo in the centre) and expand it
2.3) then select the 3rd option titled shahaadatul `ilaam ar-rasmiy
2.4) then upon selecting this a window opens that basically asks you to select from the drop down menu the govt sector you want this certificate for. in it, select the 5th option which says idaaratul `aammah lishu`oonil iqaamah
2.5) then a window opens with a button at the bottom titled "irsal" , click on it, pay 1 kd & then either you get the pdf document straight away or you go back to the sahel app & select notifications (the bell icon in the middle at the bottom panel] and you''ll find the document there
note: as far as unmarried paperwork is concerned, along with this court paper , you also need to print another document which can be easily taken from the typing centre and you''ll have to sign it (not your daughter)

i was renewing my son residency on 9 april 2024 as the residency expires on 11 april 2024. the medical insurance payment was through and as i proceeded with the residency renewal a pop was shown that finger print not available.
so i would like to know the "finger print" mentioned in pop up is seperate from biometric or are both the same? should i take seperate appointment for both?

dears,
i am working in private sector, as per eid holiday my company announced first day, second day and third day eid holidays will be leave. as per this days are wednesday , thurday and friday. as per this friday is calculating as normal leave day. they should give additonal compensation day for friday as saturday. but my company said saturday is normal day . not getting holdiday compensation. but i asked my friends in some other companies. they said for them saturday also holdiay as they get friday''s compensation. any one pls explain about this.

hello all,
eid mubarak.
i was looking for postal code of mahboula block 2 for some delivery from india.
checked and got 54002 from ministry site.
but it shows blocks till 10 staring from 54001 to 54010 whereas there are only 3 blocks in mahboula and i''m confused.
if anyone has information in this regard kindly advise.

today i returned back my passport from embassy.becouse police report is adverse .last 45 years.my case is in lower court had decided but no record of judgement copy in court ,tomorrow hearing for giving 1 year extension of temporary passport renewal.in high court.if get noc so good.embacy told if case is getting late you can extend ur residence permit short period . passport expired on 3/1/2025. can extend my temporary residency permit.

dear friends
my home will be very hot unbearable during peak summer due to full glass in my living room. i got sunblock curtains from ikea and fixed it and it''s not working at all. because the sunblock curtains have a black colour pe materials and it absorbs all the heat like a black box.
i''m looking for a roller blinder or anything similar which can help me to survive this summer.
fyi, 2 feet near window, no false ceiling and no ac vent which creates more heating due to non ac . can you please advise.

long term parking at airport
last week i visited airport to enquire about long term parking charges. i got the following information
t1 terminal (old airport)- 1 kd for 12 hours. if your car is parked even 1 minute more than 1 hour, you will pay 2 kd. 1 minute to 12 hours (1 kd). if you park car for 24 hours you pay 2 kd but if your car is 1 minute extra in parking zone then you will pay additional 1 kd making total 3 kd.
jazeera airways parking- 5 kd for 24 hours. if your car is parked 1 minute more than 24 hours, you will be charged additional 5 kd. so if your car is 24 hours + 1 minute extra then you pay 10 kd.
valet parking at jazeera airport- 3 kd for 24 hours. if your car is parked 1 minute more than 24 hours, you will be charged additional 3 kd. so if your car is 24 hours + 1 minute extra then you pay 6 kd

hi members,
i am new in kuwait and i came in kuwait on visa 18 with ''specialist'' occupation. after coming to kuwait, i understand that with specialist occupation, i won''t get driving license. so i asked our hr to change my occupation to ''manager'' before issuing me work permit and residency. hr said we can try, my quarries are
1. is it true that specialist occupation is not eligible to get driving license?
2. is it possible to change the occupation without leaving kuwait and hr can able to change the occupation in same visa? or i need to exit kuwait and redo all procedure to come kuwait with new visa?

i paid 3 lakh to a consultancy(tamilnadu-nandam) for the canada procedure, but the documents which he provided fake
they are now not responding to my phone calls also my friend.
the office also closed. the payment was done by bank transfer.
can anyone share their expertise with resolving this issue? please advise.

my driving license is expiring on 30 april 2024.
i online renewed the license on 6 april 2024 by paying 1 kd for one year. the license was renewed.
the new validity counts from the date of renewal (i.e. 6 april 2024) and not from expiry date (30 april 2024). the new expiry date is 6 april 2025.
i lost 24 days validity due to early renewal

i have taken my spouse to kuwait through a visit visa. i have been planning to perform umrah during her stay in kuwait. can i accompany my spouse along with me to perform umrah? if she travels with me before her visit visa expires, can she enter kuwait again from saudi or will her visa back to kuwait get rejected?

i would like to sent my family back to india next year due to some financial issues. i am from kerala and my problem is my son is currently studying in 7thh standard and he will be in 9th next year.he is very week in malayalam. he cant read and write many words.
is it compulsory to choose malayalam in kerala cbsce.. is there any other option for him to countinue his studies in kerala if malayalam is compulsory.
