Hi, There is no VFS Kuwait contact number.
* You have to call +442034811736 to get more information about UK visa. These calls are chargeable 1.37 pound per minute + usual carrier charges. You have to pay while you make call and instructions will be given when you make the call about how to pay this amount.
* In your case the UK Visa authorities may issue a visa with less validity according to your Kuwait residence validity.

@Jolly Roger - You have copied the VFS Germany contact number. You have no option to contact VFS for UK Visa. The only way is to call the number which I have given

Thanks Joju for the detailed information. Even a one month visa works for me. Does this mean i can apply for the visa in March for May travel even if the residence expires in August? I dont want to apply and be denied due to less residency time

Hi,
My residency was expiring in November 2018 and I had applied for UK visit visa in October 2018 and got it without any issues. The issued visa was valid for 6 months and I had been to UK 2 times on that visa.
They don't issue anything minimum than 6 months, make sure you have solid reason for visiting UK.

@information - You can apply for a UK Visit visa within 90 days of your proposed travel date to the UK. The minimum duration is 6 months visa. so you can go ahead and apply for the visa.
@Jolly Roger - Each visa application center at VFS is different criteria for contacting and other issues.

The minimum residency requirement applies when you visit/apply in GCC only.. The 6 months stipulation requires only in the case of passport expiry..
For UK they issue either 6 months visa or 1 year visa depending upon your reasons for visit and the visa fees..

Thank you everyone for your kind responses. Hopefully the residence expiry is not linked to the visa issuance. British airways office said the residence validity should be more than 6 months at the time of application and travel, so I had to get clarification here...
