few years back an Italian guy, first asked if I were Indian and then said Sonia Gandhi is Italian and he too was from Italy, and then tried to sell me his watch...I just declined. these guys think they can fool Indians into believing their stories...just simply ignore them.

Italians thinking it is easy to fool all Indian taking cue from the fact that we Indians accepted an Italian bar girl as the president of the then biggest national party and ruled 1300 million people through a proxy PM. Where else this possible other than in India where people fight each other on cast and religion basis and allow a foreigner to loot our country. According to some newspaper reports that Italian bar tender is now one of the 10 richest persons in the world. We poor still fighting here.

@Bharathi - with the same logic, the current PM is an illiterate tea stall boy, who threw his wife out and accused of genocide (was declined visa by many countries before becoming PM). So i guess a bar girl who never became is equal if not better !!

@Bharathi- Surely you are one of the people proudly forwarding a long list of Indians who have done remarkably well in the land of their adopted countries. If these countries have allowed Indians to prosper, what is wrong if someone from Italy or other succeeds in India. Learn to use the same yardstick.

@bharathi What is your disgust; a bar girl becoming a PM of a country ? or corruption amongst politicians ?
Serving alcohol in Italian culture is not frowned upon unlike in India, thus it could be an acceptable job just like other in economy. Furthermore ppl would not have talked loose for a bar-man (bartender) if he had aspired to become a PM of India.
Hopefully you may want to clarify stereotypes on many levels.
