Delay your moving by 1 to 2 months. Let the guy who came from the back door end up paying rent as well as lose the money he bribed the Haras of your building

In a way he did good. You probably wanted to sell items for 1000 KD and the smarter guy paid 300 to 400 KD to Harris. He saved 700 to 600 KD and Harris too is happy (as he has made a big money in his life). Harris will kick you out with all your Friday market items. So win - win situation for all. Where is the problem then?

Generally no one will agree with Geo & Rinku. but if I move into a flat where only 4 walls are built and I do the flooring, paint the house, change the electrical lines, bathroom fittings & Kitchen cabinets and get furniture from IKEA (not from Friday market) and finally have to leave the country in less than 5 years Or move into another house where my current furniture will not fit, Don't you think I should get a reasonable amount for the money I spent in my flat? There are lot of people prefer certain area/building for the sake of school going kids, newly arrived family and ready to pay for the demands. Surely those who do not prefer can back out.... but cheating and entering from back door bribing the Haras from behind is not good...

Why people say they own the flat !! They don’t own the flat, they rented it !! they own the household items that they purchased for their use as per their choice and need.
Why should the new tenant be at the mercy of the old one and be forced to buy the used items be it from IKEA, Safat or Friday market to take possession of the flat. New tenant is interested in the apartment. There is no moral, social or commercial obligation on new tenant to buy items.
I also find, exorbitant commission charged by Harris for renting the apartment unfair, unless he has played a key role in helping you to find the apartment similar to a broker or agent (or) he undertakes repair to fix the apartment of any deficiency then on moral ground a decent commission is fair.
Why the old tenant cries foul without empathizing for new tenant that what is he going to do with his expensive household items when they expect him/her to buy theirs. This is a mindless immoral practice happening in Kuwait amongst Indians and possibly by malyalees and bohries in general.

Mr.Geo a few months before I vacated my flat & sold the furniture & others to Friday market persons at cheap rate. Because the rent they are asking is too high. Do you any law that to fix the rent according to the space.

He could have come and ask directly to the Harris instead of asking me all the details.@ New Tenenat - I am about to move in to new apartment where almost all the item I brought it from the guy who owned the flat right now. I can not take all item to my new apartment as it will be double for me. e.g.. Dining Table , bed set etc. FYI, I didn't ask any one to pay for my old furniture for 1000 KD. it was all for 450 KWD and was negotiable. and I fixed it for 150 KWD.

What to do, there are some stupids think that they are smart and do all these stuffs. Its very difficult to trust such people. Assume you are in the situation of moving out from this country, it might be horrible time for you. If you can try to delay in giving the flat or say i am not vacating the flat.

You were planning to SELL your apartment? How exactly can you sell a rented apartment? Please don't force your old and used furniture on others. What makes you think he will buy old furniture? If he's newly married he will buy new furniture and appliances for himself.
In my opinion, what the did guy is perfectly right and fair.
The logical thing which should have been done is, you could have moved to the new flat a month earlier and sold out the furniture in your old flat and handed it over to the harris (yes, you would have had to pay rents for both apartments) or you could have sold the furniture by the time you vacated the apartment.
