Thanks to AirIndia Express Duty Manager at check-in area

On last Monday, 11th December my Mom and wife were travelling to Mangalore by AirIndia Express flight. Since my wife is conceiving, my Dad requested the counter staff to allot front row seats if available. But the staff refused to issue boarding pass and asked us to produce the doctor certificate ensuring my wife is fit for travel. We were not able to produce that within the time limit. There was no other option in front of us except to cancel our trip and try for the next flight which is available only after 2 days.

Finally, we met the duty Manager and tried to convince him. After a short “argument” in a friendly manner he allowed us to travel on the same flight after signing an undertaking letter. Thanks God, both were reached safely to their destination as scheduled.

Since I found many topics here blaming the counter staff at airport, we had a pleasant experience. I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to that officer for his support and humanitarian gesture. Unfortunately, I don’t know his name, but will be glad if he noticed this topic.
