I was left in a different airport and sent by taxi, wasted half day. Stopped using AI exp after that. Normally the counter staff behavior is what u always get. Exception happens

I am a strong critic of Air-India, because I belong to Air-Indians family. I am also a frequent flyer between Kuwait and Chennai. Off-late I noticed lots of improvements, both at Check-in counter @ Kuwiat Intl. Airport as well as inflight services. On the other day I requested the counter staff to accommodate a small piece of additional baggage (a baby stroller) for my friend. With little bit of initial hesitation, he (AI) accommodated my request. The Manager and especially his team were clearly demonstrated a professional approach toward passenger handling. Thanks a lot to them. In-flight food quality has improved a lot. Almost all the times, they keep-up the time. My honest appreciation to AI management. Above all, AI is flying us safely with full integrity. What else you need, while there are bitter experiences with other airlines (beating the passengers, throwing the passenger out of the aircraft, etc.). Air India Hats off to you. We will continue to patronize you.

Why are you worried about whether he is a Malayali? Why are you guys always so fixated on who is from which State, belongs to which religion etc?
He is giving his opinion. What difference does it make to you if he is a Malayali?

All these formalities are for our safety. They let you bypass rules. If there is any emergency in air , then you could have blamed airlines that " why they allowed us to travel "

I had a very bad experience from the Air India counter staff (Kochi ) , when my wife travelled from kochi to kuwait . Our luggage was 2 KG extra and my family does't carry any hand bags . So my wife explained that we don't have any hand luggage (14 KG) due small child. They don't agree and they have opened the luggage and removed the 2 KG extra items and told her to carry with hands. They have right to stop us , but we are all humans ......should help each other.

I'm fully with Mohd haris. That useless airline harasses people who are 300 gms overweight. Use AI exp only if u get a dirt cheap deal or no other tickets. Else avoid it at all costs.
