Yesterday I visited a restaurant called Biryani & Grills in Mahboula. I had Dum Biryani & Chicken tikka. Trust me it tastes better than Mugal mahal or Winners. And the prices were also very less.

This post very well shows that it is posted by someone from “ Mother's Kitchen & Restaurant ”.
And that too Keshab Das specifying about mutton curry ( NOT FROZEN) very much shows the Foolishness.
I am a chef by profession and I myself cannot know when a mutton is cooked In pressure cooker with 2 or 3 whistles extra no can identify if it is frozen meat or fresh meat.
And this Keshab Das asking for tasty food and that too specially asking for Mutton biriyani in Mahobula area shows that the main intention of this post was to market and advertise Mothers Kitchen and Restaurant. And that too all people are not fools to believe where 60% of staying are bachelors and they eat even stale food very tastily.
I can understand the marketing style you opted but not everyone can be fooled my dear friend and that early in the morning a Nair coming in thanking and Again telling so much about a biriyani and over praising the NOT FROZEN MUTTON. Hahahahahaha. As if Nair was the full time in kitchen and they were showing him Cooking the fresh mutton.
He does not know no restaurant in Kuwait serves any Biriyani of any state in India as tasty as in India.
Just people who say that the biriyani in that restaurant in Kuwait is tasty here and there then they have never eaten a biriyani in life.
If you would have advertised about fish we would have realized the truth because fish and all seafood can be easily identified If it is frozen or not.
I know the restaurant started recently and that you need customers just advertise normally and we will visit at least once because any advertisement People will come and pay money and eat only once.
They cannot be fooled more than once. But no need to advertise in such a manner.
You are just a normal 6 seater bachelor restautant like all other bakala restaurant in Kuwait.

Even if he's the owner of the hotel, what's the fuss about? Go to his hotel (if u want), if you like it spread the word or forget it. Simple!

To all those Happy husbands, best biriyani is always the home cooked one. Now iam not trying to be an introvert or an asxxxxe . but there is not food as yummy as the one which the mother or wife makes. And lucky if you have a sister who cooks well too. The probelm is with the wifes these days (some). by weekend they feel they are the only ones who worked hard during the week and needs a break from kitchen, they end up pesting their hubbies to end up in one of these restaurants. Whats even worse is the Facebook pics. with a title " enjoying dinner with family" . Full time show off is all what they do. Iam not saying you shouldnt go to a restaurant, and i can understand the plight of hubbies who are fedup with their wifes cooking. For a change yes, but not to change.

@ Pavanayi,
Just what I also intended to say. Specially when people hear Biriyani they get scared.
And laughing at the guy who recommended Frej Al Sawakeh. ( there is no Kuwaiti food. Everything is copied. You will find that each and everyone one of the So called Kuwaiti restuarnt the cook is a Bengali or malaylaee. ) and for preparing Kuwaiti food one does not need any skills. Boils meat or chicken. Cook rice in the stock of that Meat or chicken. Fry the chicken separate in a oil and put it over the rice. ) Majboos or so called biriyani ready. No spice, no salt, no aroma and you call it Biriyani ??
Thakara Biriyani is supposed to be the version of Thalasarry or Kozhikode Biriyani. Thakara for sure you can have 1 time in one month hardly. Just have it the second time from there and you will have a hatred for food. Having no much options similar restaurant have sprung up many in Kuwait now. Malabar Kayal, Calicut Live, a couple of ones in Salmiya. But the biriyani you get in these restaurants is nowwhere near the original ones.
And coming back to Biriyani. It is just the fear. I am a bachelor guy and a foodie. If a restaurant opens in Kuwait I would be the first to find it our order and have it.
But nowadays I have decided that for biriyani I will make it only at home. All together including the chopping and cutting and putting it on dum it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes and see the aroma that fills your flat And the neighboring flats also.
So people who come here and boasts about restaurants please don’t try to prove that the restaurant that you had biriyani is the best.
And for the last piece of advise. No state or place in India can tell that the biriyani that theirs is the original one.
Because Biriyani is 1 such food that remains a mystery and each one is got it own identical taste and aroma and flavor.
If you don’t know anything about food please eat what you get from anywhere and pay and feel happy. Don’t misguide people.

Best biryani I had in Kuwait is in Dwahi restaurant Farwaniya. They know the exact mixture of garam.masala. thats where the taste of Biryani lies.

@ Mr. Chef.
Reading your post it seems you have been kicked out from there. Put up your name They have good biryani though all their menu may not be perfect. but thats the case with any hotel. Even 5star hotels vary in thier taste of a particular item. Biryani as such varies from Kms to Kms in india. So what suits ones palate is good for him. If you have the zeal to serve authentic food and do business like Mahatma, please open a restaurant.

@Raja Naidu Falak restuarant in Salmiya is best dum biryani , Mutton biryani is 2 kd and chicken biryani is 1.5kd. Owner, cook, waiters all from Hyderabad in this hotel. He is not commercia. If you go late he will say it is finished. Means he don't mix masala with white rice and serve you. Marwa, Salmiya is also good but he is commercial. No one is from Hyderabad in this hotel. There is Taj Minar Hotel in Abraq Khaitan on main road opposite to zoo, beside KFC. This hotel is also serves authentic Hyderabadi Dum biryani. Owner , cook , waiter all from hyderabad in this hotel.
