Hiho
There is nothing called own visa, self sponsorship doesn't exist in Kuwait. Yes, you can take (buy) a visa from someone who don't give you a job and you are unofficially free to work on your own. But technically, you are under his sponsorship and its very easy for him to cause you trouble. But if you can find a honest and dependable sponsor, things may be good.
If you have sufficient contacts, working on your own could give you good rewards. If not, getting established in the market may not be very easy. The decision is yours.
