There are many cheap hotels opposite to New Delhi railway station. This place is called Paharganj and 5 min. walk able distance.
The best part is that the heart of delhi (Connought Place) is just 10 min. walk able distance from here.
For Jaipur & Agra wait form comments from people from these places.

@ Delhiwala….thanks for your advise. I am first time to North India , actually going from KWT to Delhi and then after trips, travel to Chennai.
Found 5 major Train Junctions namely Nizmudeen, New Delhi, Old Delhi, Cantt & Rohillas in Delhi and only few trains are from New Delhi station but many r from Niz & Rohillas. Advise me which is one is better to stay near.
Thanks

@ Raja. I suggest you to see Delhi and Jaipur first then head to Agra. As trains to Chennai pass thru Agra, you can catch your train at Agra station (There are 2 stations in Agra. Agara cantt and Agra Mandi). Check train schedule which station it halts.
New Delhi & Nizamuddin railway stations are main stations. All others are small but cater to North side cities and UP. Train to Rajasthan also originates from Cantt & Sarai Rohilla.
Nizamuddin area is a very posh area but not hustle and bustle like New Delhi station area. If you want to enjoy Delhi food then stay near New Delhi station. It is central location to India Gate, Chandni chowk, Karol Bagh (Shoppers best paradise) and parliament street and president house. You can go to Delhi Tourism''s coffee home location on Baba Khadak Singh Marg or state emporium lanes to book Delhi tour by bus on govt. rates. The correct landmark is Opp. Hanuman temple in Cannaught Place (a.k.a CP).
CP is a wonderful place and you will not be tired roaming and shopping. Don''t forget to visit Bikanerwala situated on the 1st floor of a state emporium. You can eat Delhi staple food Chole Bhature. You can visit Nathus Sweets at Bengali market (5 KM from CP) to eat Delhi. This shop caters to sweets to president house.
Beware: All auto- rickshaw and taxi drivers in Delhi are certified crooks. Their names can easily be included in Guniess records. Metro train in Delhi is better and fast but you will be lost in various metro track lines. Moreover metros are very crowded during rush hours. Best is public Bus which are AC and Non- AC. However for short distance metro can be used and later part of journey by bus during rush hours and vice versa. Best option is Ola or Uber (they are less looters than auto- rickshaw).
If you need more information of Delhi, you are welcome.
