Driving license for Accountant

Guys, find below the feedback rcvd regarding the elligibility of an ACCOUNTANT getting driving license....

Hi all,

I am forced to publish this post here after noticing the ignorance of our community.

I was totally ignorant that I am eligible to apply for a Driving License in Kuwait until I read the thread posted by Mr. Paul on 23 June 2009 (Can I get a Driving License?) in http://www.*****.com. The admin confirmed that I am eligible as my visa status is accountant and is under exempted category.

I got the Istemara (Learners License) by submitting the copy of following:

a)P/p nd Civil ID
b)Idne-Amal (Work permit)
c)Etmad-Tauqia (Company Paper)
d)Degree(BCom)– Attstd & trnsltd.

I spent only 1 KD for Typing and 10 KD Stamp.

After obtaining the Istemara, I approached a Driving School and attended 2 classes. 1 Class of 2 hours cost KD5/-

The car registration for test – KD 10/-
Stamp – KD 10/-

I failed in the first test as the car hit when I tried to park.
