I need some suggestions from mothers of the kg children for the snacks that we need to send with them for the school, suggest some good snacks that mothers used to send here to school, as iam a mother of a beginner

And will it be ok if we can give breakfast like dosa or chapathi before he is going to school so that he wont feel hungry upto snacks time

Dear SN G,

Dear no child will like to have heavy breakfast in the morning.

Even to make them have half glass of milk will be a great task.

First of all the main reason is in the mornings their sleep will not be enough and we wake them almost 15 or 20 minute before their bus comes. And in the hurry burry we want them to
gobble down idli chapathi dosa and upma because we think it is very easy. And the kids will be in an irritated mood. The more we pester the more they get irritated and believe me things will
get worst.

The main reason behind all this is we parents ourselves. We will sit late night chatting with our friends and nowadays whatsapp is free and we Indians are famous for utilizing free things and moreover land line free
Then going out for parties, sitting in front of the TV or fiddling with the mobile for nonsesnse.

And then we will go to sleep at 11 pm and when we as adults feel irritated in the morning we expect our little children to do everything perfectly.

So have a discipline go to sleep as early as possible or atleast have a time table for the kids so that they can go to sleep early. And in the morning atleast 45 minutes wake them up and
Dress them with great patience. Other than the cold season try to give them a bath as I have noted more than 75 percent of the parents don’t give kids bath before school.
They will feel fresh and energized. Then slowly try to feed them in small portions and get them used to eating little in the morning. If they don’t want don’t force. Give them the food
As tiffin. Slowly teach them to share foods with friends and encourage hem the happiness of sharing. Slowly they will get used and end up eating what is vin an also
Try to learn to eat at home.

Will continue below……

And also try some varieties of healthy food. No Junk food. I know saying that is very easy because most of the 2 parents are working and we cant seem to have the time and patience for
Healthy food. Finger fires, burger, hotdogs, and Pepsi I have seen many many parents sent as the childs tiffin. because that’s easy for them

And then lots of health problem and we want them to have the best treatment and looking for best doctors and hospitals.

But prevention is better than cure. So try to give them different varieties.

And then once in a while no wrong in giving them what they want. The whole time we waste on net for stupid websites and social media.

Just on the click of a finger you will get lot of breakfast recipes which can be prepared in a jiffy at home.

Happy parenting.

Sanjeev Kapoor has so so many recipes for kids and also Sanjeev Kapoor " foodfood " channel in you tube has so many recipes. Tarla Dalal, Lakshmi Nair, Vahchef and so many on you tube.

But for all this as a parent your mind and body should be fit and then only can you concentrate on your child.

So practice what you preach.

You guys just want the tag as father and the emperor of your home but cant even remember your child's DOB properly.

For you guys may be your wife is a house maid for you but not for me. And for your kind information my wife is a housewife and am working in a reputed firm in a good position.

But i feel as a father i also have a major role playing in my kids everyday part of the growth.

As i told you guys don't even know what is the DOB or your child's favorite food and coming here and releasing your frustrations.

Hats off Mr.Father of 1: If u can help ur wife in the kitchen, thats a great thing in the world. Many of husbands like me are not able to do anything in the Kitchen, because of work and busy schedules. But u r doing it well.
I am really appreciating your efforts. May be many people give negative comments or jokes on you, don't care about them.. All the best dear.

I agree with father1's advise and suggestions. its a hard job feed kids in the morning I don't believe any kid will have their breakfast before go school . in kg they have early break time around 9am so, don't force him to eat heavy breakfast kids may vomit. My kids drink hardly half glass milk right from KG class I send for tiffin dosa, idly, chapathi, iddiyappam, upma,.....but they was complaining and asking for burger , French fries ....thanks to their school and teachers who are against for junk food .

As i mentioned earlier but the message was not clear 1 message of me spending time in the kitchen and rest of the time in IIK. was actually not posted by me.

But the truth coincidentally is that i do helpmy wife with her cooking as i love it. i hope there is no wrong in it.

But don't know what was the intention of the fraud who copy pasted my nickname and posted that comment. May be he feels below his dignity or may be his ego does not allow him to do so for his wife.

Infact the same person has tried to make it a masala topic just because he added a ministry nurse and abbasiya.

a bit of advise to all the people ( religion/caste/nationality ) no bar. They are so sick in mind and body and god forbids the people who falls sick and gets admitted in hospital anywhere else in this world will know what a nurse means to them. When you have to spend your time in the hospital of course a doctor is precious but when a nurse enters the room don't you ever feel that sense that everything will be fine.
The work that they do thanklessly and no wonder they are called the angels of health.

And spending their time with 100 different types of patients with different attitudes and so many who may face physical abuse and mental abuses is bearing all those and cannot complain about it may come home. may be their husbands are kind enough to cook them food or do their kids potty. what harm is there.

yes there are guys who drives a prado and stays in abbasiya but nd of the day what is wrong in it. who would not like to own a Prado after coming to Kuwait ??
