2016 is a relatively new car, do you really need to change? If you insist, given that it's pretty new, Get it done with the authorized dealer.

change only when u reach 100,000 kms. don't change if you haven't reached it.

Go to official service centre. The car is still under warranty. Timing belt is not supposed to be changed so fast. You need to insist that this should be a free replacement under warranty.

Dear All, Thanks for your precious comments. I already checked with the Service Center they are insisting to replace the Timming Belt after 80,000 kms and informed that they would charge me in between KD,250 to KD. 300/-. Now my car is about reach 90,000 kms and planning to change it from outside which would be affordable to me.

250-300 KD??? that's too much.. you just see the spare parts cost and ask any mechanic how much he charge. but if you wish to maintain the warranty you will have to change in the authorized dealer. this is how they make money.

Hi, Indian Friend, I live in Abbasiya and work in Kuwait City (Maliya).

The Golden rule to follow worldwide is - take the new car from the dealer and end it there..... never go to them even for first servicing. Your troubles will never end.

Just buy parts outside and give to a normal mechanic.

Abbasiya - I would recommend Hussain (99511791) Caesars abbasiya same road. I did all my jobs with him since 1998 (cherokee, Pajero, Prado )
