Every New Year we make resolutions. Some of us are able to keep it up but most of us always break it. We all make resolutions to achieve something for ourselves and to make ourselves happy. Happiness is the most important thing in our life. We do many things to achieve happiness. Happiness cannot be gained; it has to be earned. We can find happiness in every little thing that we do. When we do good deeds, we feel happy. When we get good marks in our exams, we feel happy. When we pray to God we feel happy. Happiness can be achieved when we are kind to others and we are good to those who hate us. It is very truly said that “The happy people don’t have the best of everything; they make the best of everything.”
Happiness comes when we stop complaining about the troubles we have and say thanks to God for the troubles we don’t have. Often we complain to God and remain unhappy, when we don’t get something what we wanted. This is because of our greed. This is Human Nature. All the people who have been able to control their greed and emotions are known as Great people and happy people. A smile not only improves your face value but also makes others happy.
It is found that people who remain happy have less health problems, are more confident, successful and live longer.
Our life will always be filled with challenges, as problems are never ending. I feel when I finish my studies ,I will be happy but then at that moment I will feel that I will be more happy if I could get a good job, then follows a better salary and so on………..hence requirements and demands go on. When we get one thing we start planning for the next. So the best thing to do is to be happy right now, as time and tide waits for none. So this New Year let us think differently. Let us learn to appreciate and seek joy in every moment that we spend with our dear and near ones, as life is short. It is also truly said: It is not important how long you live but it is important how you live. Hence I advice you all that the best thing we all can do is to admit and decide to be happy.
If we wait for the right time to be happy, it may never come as wishes are never ending.
The truth is, there’s no better time to be happy than right now.
My family and I also believe in being happy always.
So this New Year let us all take the Resolution to be HAPPY and let us not break it ever.
