A little bit of respect and our bright future...that's all they wish for.

A little bit of respect and our bright future...that

When we think of a teacher entering our class what comes faster than the speed of light? Yes it’s the lousy tune of “Good morning ma’am”. But wait…just examine yourself for a second, are we saying (I mean singing) that good morning sincerely. What I’d like to say is before we say good morning or good afternoon just think about the struggle they take to teach us and to lead us in the right path. If we remember that… I mean if the whole class does that then that lousy good morning will be one of the best and active welcome a teacher could receive and make him/her happy when entering into the class.

Most of us know that teacher’s day is celebrated on 5th September and it’s the birth date of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan who believed and inspired all the teachers of the country that teachers should be the best minds in the country. Yes it’s truly right. They are the best minds capable of leading us in right paths, inculcating moral values in us and also giving us knowledge.

But sometimes as I wrote in the intro paragraph we forget to respect teachers whose only will is to lead us in the right way. Some if us sadly somewhere in our hearts think of teachers as someone who always complains about us, who takes extra periods for their subject hence making us bored or as someone who screams always in the class. But we never think from their side. They sometimes complain about us not because they don’t love us it’s because they do love us. It’s just to lead us in the right way. They take extra classes because they want us to achieve more in our academic feats and they sometimes shout to just make us concentrated on what we are studying. And remember my friends; they do all these for making us a better person. Respecting our dear teachers is the best teacher’s day gift we can give to our teachers.

In this teachers day I’d like to say a big thank you for all the teachers who are living to make their pupils better citizens, straining themselves to educate us and for caring us like our mothers.
