A mother is one who gives birth to a child, looks after them, nurtures them and fulfills all their needs. Without a mother there is no child. A mother works selflessly day and night to fulfill the child’s dreams. She works without a holiday. The heart of a mother is like gold at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness and love.
Mothers hold their children’s hand for a short while, but keeps them in their hearts forever. A mother is not only a woman; she is a teacher, chef, doctor, architect, designer and above all our best friend. When we are ill she looks after us like a doctor, when we need to make a project, she becomes a designer. During our exams she becomes a teacher and is our best friend. She contributes the most to the society. No gift in this world can ever be equivalent to the precious gift that she has given us i.e. the gift of life.
Our former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam also said that ‘Without my mother I am nothing’.
Mothers care for us all their life in a very special way which we can never understand. In the middle of the night, when the whole world is asleep, she remains awake to look after her child. She spends sleepless nights worrying about her child. She takes all the trouble to secure her child’s future but never complains.
Our mother's care is priceless; it has been gifted to us from her tender heart.
So let’s all love and thank our mother on this auspicious day.
