Famous Indian painter Kondal Raj’s Art Exhibition begins in Kuwait

A renowned artist and art teacher in Kuwait, Mr. Kondal Raj of S.S. Manian Art Foundation is holding an Art Exhibition titled ‘Impressions & Expressions’ from 6th April to 13th April 2012 at Jabriya, Dar El Cid Art Gallery.



The Exhibition was inaugurated by His Excellency Shri. Satish C Mehta, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait. The Chief Guest on the inaugural function was His Excellency Mr. Dato Adnan Haji Othman, Malaysian Ambassador to Kuwait. Eminent Kuwaiti artist Mr. Abdul Aziz Mohamed Hussain was also a guest on the inaugural function.



Mr.Kondal Raj, hails from Thenkasi, in Tamil Nadu has done innumerable portraits which have been widely acclaimed for their likeness to the subjects and brimming with life. His last exhibition in Kuwait was held in 2009 in the same venue and more than 3000 visitors witnessed the display. This time, along with Mr. Kondal Raj, 20 eminent artists from India are displaying their paintings in Kuwait. More than 120 paintings are put on display.



Different forms of painting like Water colour, Oil painting, Acrylic painting, Knife painting etc. are exhibited.




The exhibition is held at Dar El Cid Art Gallery, which is located near to New English School in Jabriya next to Hadi Clinic. Timings for the exhibition are 9 am to 1 pm & 4 pm to 9 pm and the entry is free for all.
