Riddhiraj Kumar a wonder kid with amazing memory power

How many of us can remember flags of all the nations of the world and if asked recognise them or describe the flag of the countries blindfolded? Here is a child prodigy with incredible photographic memory who can describe the flags of all the countries blind folded.
Riddhiraj Kumar a 6 yrs old, 1st standard student of Bhavans, Kuwait has the amazing ability to name all the states of India blindfolded by just feeling the shapes of map. He can remember volumes of information that which even an adult cannot. He can list out all the countries of the world in less than 1 min 30 secs. Children of his age see shapes as Triangles, Square etc. but he sees shapes of countries. He tries to create shapes of states or countries in clouds, pizzas etc. He is Wunderkind or a wonder child with amazing memory power at such a tender age.
He is the only child in the world who can describe the flag of all the countries.
This hidden talent was revealed to his parents when their son Riddhiraj was just one and a half years old. The day when Egypt had won a football match and on road Egyptians were celebrating waving their flag, Riddhiraj pointed to the flag and said “Egypt, Egypt.” This astonished his parents as he had just started learning to talk and he could already recognise the flag of a foreign country. He had seen the flag in the TV and the image and the name had got registered in his mind. From then on there was no turning back his parents started training him and taught him all the nations’ flags. They saw that he was extremely good and could pick things up really fast. He learnt the flags of all the countries in the world in less than one year. Now he knows all the 210 countries. If randomly asked any question on flag he will instantly answer. Another quality of Riddhiraj is blindfolded he can describe colours, design and the contents of the flags of any country and name the Indian states of the country with their capital just by feeling shapes (miniature models) of the map. If given an alphabet he will list all the countries of that alphabet. He has memorized up to 15 tables, and can add, subtract and multiply. If he is given any number up till 11 million and asked to make perfect cube roots he will answer in written within 30 seconds. His interest in astronomy has made him memorize all the names of the planet.
This amazing talent of Riddhiraj has been witnessed by thousands of people in India. He has done many stage performances. His first stage performance was at the age of Three and a half for a Religious Group BAPS MANDAL in front of 200 people in Kuwait. He even had got selected in the audition of India’s Got Talent held in Bombay in 2012. On one of his stage shows, Dr Ranjan, who is the cardiologist of India’s former president, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, was impressed by his skills and invited him to perform at one of his conferences. He has even performed in TV programs “India News” and “GS TV”.
At the age of 5, he got a chance to speak to US astronaut Sunita Williams, who was at that time aboard International Space Station as commander of Expedition 33, through Ham Radio. The Science City in Gujarat, India, in cooperation with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) had organized the event on Children’s Day. The Space Talk was conducted for the First Time in India for the children. Science City had picked Riddhiraj after going through his articles that were published in various newspapers in Gujarat for the exclusive chat with Sunita Williams. He is very much interested in astronomy and his ambition is to become an astronaut. He was one of the 14 children who got this exclusive opportunity to talk to the astronaut.
Recently Riddhiraj has received sponsorship letter to visit NASA (USA) from H.B. Kapadia Group of Schools, Ahmedabad for next year 2014.
He also got an opportunity to meet Gujarat Chief Minister Mr Narendra Modi recently through a local MLA Mrs Vibhavari Dave.
Riddhiraj Kumar being an expert in Country flags has created his own flag for Earth Day (which is celebrated every year on 22nd April) and the proposal has been sent to Government of India. They are now waiting for their feedback.
"I love to know more about Solar Systems, Planets and Space. My dream is to visit NASA-USA and I will do my best to become an Astronaut." says Riddhiraj Kumar.
Riddhiraj hails from Gujarat, India. His father Mr Swayaraj Kumar is an IT Manager at Ajwan International – Caesars Group, and his mother Mrs Krupa, is a housewife and the one who coaches him.
