KAICO (Eicher) Launches Eicher Mobile Service

Kuwait Automotive Imports Co WLL (Al Shaya & Al Sagar) KAICO, the exclusive Eicher trucks & buses distributor in Kuwait since 2000, recently introduced a unique Eicher Mobile Service. The new specially equipped truck was launched in the presence of Mr Ashish Tandon, General Manager of KAICO, Mr. Anurag Vohra, Vice President & Head, Eicher Trucks & Buses, Mr Amitabh Shrivastava, Regional Head - Middle East, Eicher Trucks & Buses, Aman Arora, Head – Exports Sales, Eicher Trucks & Buses and KAICO staff.

Mr Ashish Tandon, General Manager of KAICO stated that as a result of aggressive and unique marketing strategies, Eicher is a preferred choice of the foodstuff, maintenance, cleaning, construction, projects, contracting and cargo companies. Mr Shanavaz, Asst. Brand Manger - Eicher emphasized that KAICO is proud there are over 1000 Eicher trucks and buses running on Kuwait roads today. In 2011 KAICO opened a new Service facility in Ardiya industrial area which is exclusively for Eicher customers.

Recently KAICO launched the innovative Eicher mobile service which would cater to Eicher fleet customers at their site and at their convenience. The first 25 vehicles to be booked for this service, are entitled to FREE oil replacement with Mobil lubricant.

Eicher Group, India began its business operations in 1959 with the roll-out of India`s first tractor and today has diversified business interests in design, development, manufacturing, sales and distribution of trucks, buses, motorcycles, auto components and gears.

Mr. Amitabh Shrivastava, Regional Head, Middle East, VECV explained that VECV has its Eicher commercial vehicle manufacturing unit in Pithampur industrial area, Madhya Pradesh, India. The first Eicher branded truck rolled out from its state of the art manufacturing plant in 1986 with the technical collaboration of Mitsubishi Motor Corporation and over the past 26 years, the products have got endorsement from happy customers of over 300,000 vehicles. Eicher today has transformed itself into a complete CV manufacturer with a wide product range from 5t to 40t GVW trucks and 15 to 65 seater buses. The company's products strongly emphasize its customer orientation. Eicher vehicles are well known in the market for their overall low cost of ownership and the reason can be found in the ‘Eicher advantages’. Currently present in 26 countries around the world, Eicher will leverage Volvo’s widespread distribution network for further facilitating the export of these products to different countries world-over and will help VECV bolster its presence in international markets.
