The French Department of FAIPS organized an educational trip to Paris for the French students of Classes VIII, IX and X. The tour was organized to make students to have firsthand experience of the French culture. 63 students along with 6 teachers started their journey on 19th of March toward this beautiful city of Paris. The students were so excited to embark on this trip. They bid adieu to their parents at Kuwait Airport on 19th morning. They landed in Paris on the same day morning. They went to the hotel and freshened up. They went on a cruise on the river Seine where they got to see the lovely city in lights as they enjoyed this one hour ride on the boat. What a beautiful way to start their trip!

The following day, they went to the Orsay museum to see the beautiful impressionistic paintings of great French painters and after lunch, had a wonderful time at Versailles Palace. They spent the whole afternoon admiring and appreciating the architecture of the palace and its beautiful garden. The students then visited the Louvre museum where they enjoyed the nice paintings and sculptures of great artists. They were so overwhelmed to see the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper of Da Vinci. They had one full day for shopping. They shopped at Galerie Lafayette and Printemps, etc. They had an opportunity to visit a cheese factory and got to taste one of the best French cheeses available in the French market. The next stop was Disneyland, Paris where they had a lot of fun. A trip to Paris will not be complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower. It was a lovely experience for each one of them to get to the top of the tower to have a panoramic view of the city of Paris. It was a dream comes true for many of them and a wonderful learning experience.

Every place that the students visited is steeped in rich history and each place has its history. It was exhilarating to feel being a part of such wonderful history. With a heavy heart, they left the beautiful city and returned to Kuwait on 25th of March with fond memories close to their heart. Thanks to the Principal and the Management of FAIPS for giving them a lifetime experience which they will cherish forever in their lives.
