NSS-Kuwait Conducted 13th Annual General Body Meeting

The 13th Annual General Body Meeting of NSS-Kuwait (National Service Society), formed in Kuwait in 2001, was held on Friday 28th March 2014 at Orma Auditorium, Abbassiya. The meeting was presided by Baiju Pillai, the President of NSS Kuwait and Madhu Vettiyar, General Secretary welcomed the audience. The Annual Report and the Financial Report for the year 2013-2014 were presented to the General Body by Madhu Vettiyar and Dinachandran (Treasurer) respectively and both Reports were approved by the General Body after detailed discussion over it. The President, General Secretary and Treasurer replied to the members' queries raised in the meeting.
The election for the new Office Bearers, Executive Committee, Prathinidhi Sabha and Vanitha Samajam for the year 2014 – 2015 were held under the supervision of the Steering Committee and as such the General Body unanimously elected Ullas Kumar P.S. as President, Vijayakumar K.P. as General Secretary, Hari Nair as Treasurer, Madhu Vettiyar as Vice President, Sreejith C. Pillai, Anil Kumar C & Anil Kumar V. Pillai as Joint Secretaries, Rajeev T. Pillai & Jayaprakash R as joint Treasurers, Jayaram E.P as Auditor and Shanthi Venugopal as Vanitha Samajam convener. The newly elected office bearers and the Committee Members took charge by renewing the NSS Pledge. Hari Nair, expressed the vote of thanks.
