Indian Education School Bestowed Honours on CBSE Toppers

Indian Educational School, a Bhavans group of schools, honoured the toppers of the Class X and XII Examination in a fantastic felicitation programme organized in the IES auditorium on June 12, 2014. The invitees for the programme were the CBSE toppers of Grades 10 and 12 and their parents. Principal, Mr T Premkumar congratulated the toppers and accorded a warm welcome to the guests of the day in high spirits. The program began with the recitation of a Sanskrit shloka by Mr. Sunil Menon HOD Sanskrit.

The proud Bhavanites, Arun George John and Sara Abdul Jabbar cherished their long association with the school with a difference that added meaning to their lives and expressed their gratitude and contentment in being marvels of the school. Parents who spoke on the occasion, Dr Shajan Purushothaman, Mr Nalini MohanVishnuvajhala and Mr Ramakumar N, extolled the stupendous and ceaseless efforts of the management and the teachers and left the podium contented, giving their votes of confidence, having rightfully chosen their child's alma mater.

The CBSE Class XII toppers received mementoes from Chairman, Mr N K Ramachandran Menon. The Chairman blessed the students and appreciated them for their hard work and determination to excel. He also implored the students to stay blessed and noble by being respectful to their parents and upholding the tradition and culture of their land. He urged them not to hurt their parents in their pursuit of excellence but to seek their blessings always.

The enticing performance of the dancers of Bhavans Rhythmscapes added lustre to the blissful eve. Mrs Asha Ebey (HOD, Computer Science) proposed the vote of thanks.. Mrs Meenakshi Nayyar, (HOD, Social Science) was the emcee.

A sumptuous dinner hosted in honour of the guests added spice to the festivities. The rendezvous cemented the pride in the philosophy of Bhavans. The fervent faith shown by the stake holders and the spirit of solidarity, boosts the spirit of the IES faculty, to rise against all odds and fight to achieve the best, to set the targets higher and hit them harder, defining and redefining success every time. Such is the power of this success mantra at Bhavans.
