Egyptian stabbed to death during fight in Kabd

An Egyptian expatriate died and 14 other individuals sustained injuries during a public brawl among 30 Egyptian and Indian expatriates in the Camels Market in Kabad area.

According to local daily reports, seven unidentified individuals sustained severe injuries and have been admitted in the Intensive Care Unit in critical condition. They revealed that 20 securitymen and 10 ambulances were dispatched to the location when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the fight.

Securitymen exerted efforts to settle the unruly quarrel. Paramedics referred the injured brawlers to Jahra, Farwaniya and Sabah hospitals. A case has been registered to investigate the cause of the quarrel.
