320 Indians died in Kuwait in past 7 month

320 deaths of Indian nationals registered in Kuwait during the past 7 months, which results in an average of 1.5 deaths of Indians per day in Kuwait.

According to official statistics, 320 deaths of Indian nationals registered with the Embassy of India in Kuwait from 1st January 2014 to 4th August 2014. The important observation is that the average age of death of a working Indian expat here in Kuwait is 45 to 47 years, which is an alarming observation.

50% of the deaths are the people between the age group of 30 to 50 years. 82% (264) of the registered deaths are men while 18% (56) of the reported deaths during the above period is females.

75% of the death cases are natural deaths that occur in Kuwait due to heart failure induced apparently by high level of stress and incorrect lifestyle. The percentage of deaths by accidents and suicides is also on the higher side. 16% of the deaths registered are by accidents while 4% are suicide cases.

The above statistics reveal the important of expat community working here to adopt some methods to reduce work related or mental stress which includes daily routine physical activities and following a proper diet etc.
