The Egyptian national who died here last week during a brawl between some Indians and Egyptians in a camp site in Kabd is died of cardiac arrest, claims Indian workers who are accused of killing. This was reported by an Indian media quoting Indian workers at the camp site.

According to the daily, Indians, most of them are from Punjab blamed the Egyptians of instigating them over a petty issue of a seat in the cab that dropped them home after work.

According to medical report of the Egyptian worker, it is confirmed that it was a case of natural death and not due to injuries sustained during the fight, daily reported quoting officials of Punjab Welfare Society in Kuwait.

Indian news paper 'Times of India' reported the incident quoting workers from the camp as that there was an argument between Punjabis and Egyptians on way back home about a fortnight back. "After this, the Egyptians planned to pick up a fight. On Wednesday, they came fully prepared. When we came back from work at around 5 pm, one of us was not allowed to sit in the bus, leading to an altercation and Egyptians hit us with sticks. Soon, other workers from both sides joined in carrying blunt weapons and the minor issue flared up. Our company has handled the issue well and there has been no problem after that," daily reported quoting a worker.
