Famous Indian American standup comedian Rajiv Satyal will be performing live in Kuwait for the first time at 'Culture Shock'. According to organizers, Culture Shock is India meets America meets Palestine meets Kuwait meets Saudi Arabia. The event is a collaborative standup comedy show hosted by Kuwaiti Ahmed Al Shammari presenting the culturally diverse Saudi-American Firas Alola, the Palestinian national Kuwaiti citizen Mohammed Aqua and the international stand-up comedian Indian-American Rajiv Satyal.

Rajiv Satyal started doing standup comedy in 2002. In his intense two-minute shout-out released recently for India’s Independence Day and influenced by the Molson ‘I Am Canadian’ beer ad he shares exactly what being Indian means (and does not mean) to him. "I’m Indian. Just Indian. I’m not South Asian any more than Russians are North Asian. I’m not ASIAN Indian or EAST Indian. There are 1.3 billion of us – we don’t need a cardinal direction, OK? It’s not our fault that Christopher Columbus got lost", he said in one of his famous shout-out.

The show will take place on Thursday 25th of September at the Safir International Hotel in Bneid Elgar. For more info please call us on: +965 66156648
