Kuwait Knanaya Cultural Association celebrated Onam

Kuwait Knanaya Cultural Association (KKCA) celebrated the festival of Onam on Friday, 12th of September 2014 at Carmel School Khaitan. KKCA President Mr. Tomy Praladyil presided the inaugural function in which His Excellency Mr. Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India to Kuwait inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. Rev Fr. John Padipurackal, Rev. Fr. Andrew Francis, Rev. Fr. Prakash Thomas, SMCA President Anil Tayil, KMRM President Babuji Bathery, KMCA Secretary Roy Kuttanadu, Master Tom Thottikattu gave felicitation speech. Association Gen Secretary Shinson Kurian welcomed the gathering and Treasurer Reny Abraham expressed vote of thanks.
A Variety of cultural programs also held as part of the Onam celebration. All the participants contributed enormously to make the event a colorful display of tradition and friendly cheer.
The main highlight of the program was delicious Onasadhya. The homely food-dishes prepared by members of the association were served to more than 1200 members gathered.
