India International School’s team of connoisseur teachers from Kindergarten hosted “Little Chef Competition” on 16-10-2014 for the tiny tots of UKG under the auspices guidance of Mrs.Yogeetha Thomas KG Head and Mrs. Nilofar Qazi the Creative Head. The little chefs were challenged for fireless cooking like healthy salad, sandwich or a mock tail.

For students, the competition offers an experience that will help them further for their culinary careers. They were chosen for demonstrating the ability to build confidence and take up further challenges. The little chefs were judged on plate presentation, taste, food, safety and sanitation by scrupulous judges Mrs. Sapna Raoof (VP), Mrs.Sophy John (VP), Mrs. Firoza .The entire IIS kitchen was swarming with tiny tots in their appropriate attire as a chef it was a wonderful moment for the tiny tots and teachers to experience the mouth watering refreshing mock tails, raw vegan sandwiches immune boosting vegetable salad and fanciful fruit salad.

It was indeed an impressive experience for everyone to witness the tiny tots cherishing and enjoying their beautiful moments of life at IIS kitchen. Kudos to the parents and teachers of IIS for their tireless efforts in building the creativity in the minds of the blooming buds.

Many students participated in the “Little Chef Competition” and for non participants’ teachers and students dredge up to a fully flavored and zesty fruit Tikka.

The freshly picked exotic fruits were made into an energetic fruit salad for the LKG students from the mundane day to day routine of their school life to the flavorful journey into the delicious world of fruits wherein they were enriched with harmonious experience of sharing and caring.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Director Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya and Principal Mr. F. M. Basheer Ahmed, Sr.V.P.Mrs.Narendar Kaur and all other Vice Principal respectively. We at India International School relentlessly strive to give children repeated opportunities to experience food and creating a healthy eating habit. Kindergartners are old enough to understand the basic of nutrition and make their own choice about the things that they eat but we have to inspire them in learning and understanding for making healthy eating choice.
