Goan patient repatriated to India with the help of community leaders

Paik Shambu Gaonkar, hails from Goa, repatriated back to India with the timely intervention of social organization Kala Kuwait and Indian Embassy in Kuwait for further treatment. Mr Paik Shambu Gaonkar was paralyzed and was under treatment at Mubarak Al Kabeer hospital for the past several months. He was alone here and no other friends or relatives were available to look after him here in Kuwait. He was working here as a labor for a meager wage.

Kala Kuwait officials informed the situation to Indian embassy and with the advice of doctor, he was taken back to Indian for further treatment. His relatives in India thank all those who supported him at the time of need.
