Indian schools permitted to raise student fee and teachers salary

The Minister of Education and Higher Education Bader Al-Essa announced raising fees in Indian, Pakistani and Arabic schools in Kuwait and also raise salaries for employees at these schools.

The Ministry of Education said in a statement on Thursday that the fees for kindergarten schools can be increased to KD 320, elementary is 356 KD, the intermediate is KD 410 and KD 460 for high schools for the term of 2014-2015.

Meanwhile, the salaries of kindergarten teachers will be KD 250, elementary teacher KD 263, intermediate is KD 284 and KD 341 for high school teachers, the Ministry added. Librarian, Computer technician, Accountant, Nurses etc. salary should be 250 KD. For other designations, minimum salary should be 200 KD, the statement says.
