TMCA held Seminar on Education and Cultural Awareness

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA), Kuwait has successfully conducted its Annual Program titiled 'Educational and Cultural Awareness Seminar' on Friday, the 14th November, 2014 held at Social Reform Society, Al-Rawdha, between 06.30 p.m. and 10.00 p.m.

The main objective of this Seminar is to promote educational awareness among our masses on how to be more responsible to their heirs ensuring they are having proper education to cope-up with today’s competitive world. Responsibility towards society is also a main priority both to go in hand-to hand towards promoting cultural awareness.

Event started with recital of holy verses from noble Quran by Vallam As-sheikh. Naser Sadik Rabbani, TMCA Religious Secretary. Mannachanallur Br. A. Abdul Jaleel, TMCA Co-ordinator welcomed the audience and TMCA Vice-President, Karaikkal S.M. Arif Maricar gave presidential address. The whole program was compiled by our General Secretary, Poolangal S. Saguber Ali (Dr. Ali).

TMCA honoured its Guests with Momento of Appreciation and presentation of Souvenir Book and DVD. Mr. Ganesan from Pondicherry, a well-wisher of TMCA, who is on a private visit to Kuwait was honoured thanking his whole-hearted co-operation and support to TMCA and its activities.

Captain Abdul Rahim Abbas, Head-TMCA Education Wing, proposed Vote of Thanks invocation by Peruvalanallur Br. Hidayathullah, Head of TMCA’s Events Co-ordination Committee.

Earlier, our guests were given a warm Reception on Thursday, 13th Nov. at Man-o-Salwa Restaurant, Murgab and next day delivered Friday sermons in our brotherly associations, K-Tic and MISK Tamil Qutba Masjids and also delivered lectures in specially organized functions of our brotherly associations such as NAF, QMF, TMMK etc., with a good aim of getting our Guests’ messages to nook and corner of Kuwait demonstrating once again that TMCA is a parent body of ALL Tamil speaking brothers in Kuwait admirably in its 19th year of relentless social service.
