Buntara Sangha Kuwait held their AGM and appointed New Office Bearers for 2015

Buntara Sangha Kuwait held their Annual General Body meeting on Friday 16th January 2015 at Indian Community School, Salmiya. The program commenced with a prayer followed by the traditional lighting of lamp by the Managing Committee. Welcome address was given by Vice President Mrs.Nirmitha Shetty. Mr. Chetan Adappa, General Secretary, presented the Annual report highlighting the various cultural and social activities organized in the past year. Treasurer Mr.Shodan Shetty briefed about the income and expenditure of the Sangha for the year 2014. The Managing Committee felicitated the few newly married couple without dowry as part of social commitment of the association. The Managing Committee honored all the sub-committee members and also other adults and kids who participated in the various cultural programs. The outgoing President Mr. Guru Hegde extended gratitude to all the members for the year long cooperation and support as well as the warm response in contribution to welfare activities to serve the needy under HEMA (Health, Education, Marriage Assistance) scheme.

Mr. Vishwanath Shetty, the designated Election officer briefed over the nomination of the Managing Committee for the year 2015. The following office bearers were declared to have been elected to serve as office bearers for the year 2015.

Gen. Secretary: Mr. Dinesh Shetty
Treasurer: Mrs. Babita Manoj Shetty

PRO: Mr. Raghunath Shetty

The new managing committee members introduced themselves and affirmed their commitment to serve the association to the best of their abilities in co-operation with all the members.

After the delicious lunch by Avanti Palace, lively cultural programs entertained the members. Kids entertained the audience with melodious Hindi song and various other activities. Spectacular dance programs were performed by BSK Dancing Divas. Family Games was very well anchored by Mr. Manoj Shetty, involving all the BSK members with lots of fun and zeal. Finally the evening was capped by the Indian national anthem. The Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Chetan Adappa. The program was well anchored by Mr. Chetan Rai and Mrs. Prithvi Shetty.
