Ministry of Communications warns public to pay phone bills

Ministry of Communications informed that the ministry will start taking strict measures against subscribers who are yet to pay their dues to the ministry for the phone services.

Undersecretary of Ministry of Communications Eng Hameed Al- Qattan, in a press statement, said the Minister of Communications and State Minister for Municipal Affairs Essa Al-Kandari has issued directives to take all necessary measures for collecting pending dues that individual or company subscribers owe the ministry for various services in order to protect public funds and the rights of the state.

Eng Al-Qattan explained that the ministry has formed a committee headed by Assistant Undersecretary for Financial Affairs Adel Dashti for revenue collection from subscribers of phone services provided by the ministry irrespective of whether the subscribers are public servants, companies or individuals.
