Malayali Media Forum conducted Annual media Conference 2015

Malayali Media Forum (MMF) Kuwait conducted its annual media conference on 19th February, 2015 at Indian Community School, Kaithan. Sri. A.K.Srivasthava, Second Secretary (Information, and Press), Indian Embassy Kuwait, inaugurated the function presided by MMF general convener Sathar Kunnil. Well known journalist and Reporter Channel CEO,Sri. Nikeshkumar, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Sathar Kunnil presented the token of appreciation to Nikesh Kumar on behalf of MMF. Ismail Payyoli introduced the chief guest to the audience.

“Instituting voting rights to the Indian expatriate community is a crucial and major step ahead taken in favour of democratic governance”, Nikesh Kumar said in his key note speech. “This will result in a major shift at the voting scenario in India, especially in Kerala. The major concern in India is the deep rooted corruption in the system. Even there exists a belief that corruption is an inevitable ingredient to get things done in proper channel”, he added.

A Souvenir comprising the articles and short notes of the media forum members was released by Nikesh Kumar and Souvenir committee convener Abdul Fatah Thayyil received the first copy. Famous artists Johnarts Kalabhavan and Hari Pillai presented the caricature and pencil drawing to Nikesh Kumar.

Sponsors and the participants of the cultural show for the event were honoured by the chief guest. Anil Keloth (MMF convener) welcomed the gathering and Jalin Triprayar (MMF convener) extended the word of gratitude at the function compeered by Reshmy Krishnakumar.
