Foreign recruitment door opens

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has opened the door for employers to bring foreign work force into the country as per the actual manpower need of the local labor market with an average bank guarantee of KD 250 per year, local daily reported. Kuwait's Al-Anba daily quoting an official source from the Public Authority for Manpower, added that the foreign labor need will be linked to that of the national workforce; hence, the authority will be fully ready to issue work permits soon.

Daily also added that harsh penalties will be imposed on anyone who hires foreign workers from abroad and fails to provide them work in Kuwait.
