Spoken Sanskrit Workshop concluded

Samskrita Bharati Kuwait, in conjunction with Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Sanskrit Department continues its noble journey for propagation of Samskritham to the expat community in Kuwait by conducting 10 day Samskrithama Sambhashana Shibiram (Spoken Sanskrit Workshop) in Kuwait from 8th – 17th March . The response from the community was overwhelming, the organizers said.

The Samapan Samaroh was held on 18th March at Mangaf. Chief Guest Srimati Anitha Sadanand, Vice Principal Senior Wing, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan lit the inaugural traditional lamp. The function was presided by Sri Krishna Kumar , Advisory Board Member, Seva Darshan Kuwait. The chief Guest was handed a book by Sri Krishna Kumar as a token of “Smriti and Samman“ . Smt. Anita Sadananad lauded the noble efforts of Samskrita Bharathi, Kuwait , and was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and response shown by the participants.

Sri Krishna Kumar in his presidential address complemented Samskrithama Bharati for its relentless efforts for this noble cause.

Samskrithama Bharati Kuwait coordinator Shri.P.Gopakumar extended the welcome speech. The spoken workshop was conducted by Shri Balasubramanian.

Various luminaries from different cross section of Indian expatriates in Kuwait graced the occasion. The function commenced with prayer song followed by skits in Samskritham by the participants, in which they displayed the easiness of usage of Samskritham in daily life as well as their workshop experiences.

Shri Balasubramanian eloquently described the importance, relevance, necessity and easiness of Samskritham as a language. He described it as the “Language of India” with its untapped potential for the welfare of the world community and every Indian’s responsibility to propagate it. Srimati Anitha, Sri Baluji, Sri Krishna Kumar, Sri. Sashidharan , Sri Milind Rajgolikar and Sri Achutanandan gave away the certificates for the participants. Sri Balaji Anandaraj, Sanskrit Dept. Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan and , Samskritha Bahrathi Kuwait Shikshan Pramukh, delivered the vote of thanks.
