Future Eye Theatre announces Fifth anniversary

Renowned Indian theatre director Sankar Venkateswaran will inaugurate 5th anniversary celebrations of Future Eye Theatre, Kuwait at 6.30 pm on Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Indian Community School, Auditorium (Senior), Salmiya. Venkateswaran, who currently serves as the Artistic Director of International Theatre Festival of Kerala (ITFoK), will conduct a theatre workshop on Saturday April 11, 2015 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm at the Indian Community School, Amman Branch in which theatre lovers from different amateur troupes will attend.
Future Eye Theatre will present its latest production ‘Puzhayil, Ilayil Oru Urump’, a contemporary Malayalam play during the anniversary celebration. The play depicts the existential angst of a Gulf returnee and his world of fantasy as he fights for survival in a hostile urban society. The drama is scripted by Sunil K Cherian and directed by Sajeev K Peter. Its Artistic Director is Shemejkumar K K, Assistant Director Dr Prathap Unnithan and choreography Sherly Thomas.
