Kozhikode District Association, Kuwait elected new office bearers

Kozhikode District Association, (KDA) Kuwait conducted its annual general body meeting recently at United Indian School Auditorium, Abbasiya. The general body meeting was inaugurated by Mr. Shabeer Mandoly, the Patron of the Association and President Mr.Haneef. C presided over the function. Mr. Rajagopalan E., the patron in his speech highlighted activities carried out by the association in last 5 years. Mr.Shyjith. K, General Secretary offered welcome address to the audience and presented annual report and By-law amendments. Mr. Najeeb P.V, Treasurer presented financial report for the year 2014-15. Annual report, financial report and By-law amendments got approval after detailed discussions on it.

There after Mr. Rigit Raj, Association's Accounts Auditor for the year 2014-2015 was honored by presenting him a memento for executing his sincere and excellence assignments within the short time given for auditing all accounts.

An election for office bearers for the year 2015-2016 was in agenda. Mr. Siraj Eranhikkal controlled the election proceedings. The meeting unanimously elected the following office bearers. Accordingly the elected candidates took over their responsibilities in the following positions. Mr. Ramdas Chilamban (President), Mr. Abdul Najeeb.T.K (General Secretary), Mr. Najeeb. P.V (Treasurer), Mr. Jawed Bin Hameed and Mr. Siddarthan Kuruvatoor (Vice Presidents), Mr. Sajid Payyoli (Joint Secretary), Mr. Rathidasan. K.V (Joint Treasurer), Mr. Haneef .C (Organizing Secretary), Mr. Ragesh. P.D (Welfare, Member Benefits & Investments Secretary), Mr. Hassankoya. K (Arts & Culture Secretary), Mr. Bharathan. E. C (Web & IT Secretary), Mr. Shareef Thamarassery (Media & Public Relations Secretary), Mr. Shyjith. K (Membership Data Management Secretary) and Mr. Suja Rahman (Sports Secretary). The general body was remarkable by the huge number and active participation of the members, as the association is continuing it's voyage as a leading Indian association among Kuwait society.

Mr.Rajagopalan.E, Mr. Hameed Keloth, Mr. Aboobacker, Mr. Ramakrishnan Mangalassery, Mr.Santosh.O.M, Mr. Mustafa, Mr.Shamsudeen.T.K, Mr.Kunhiraman.K.T, Mr.Sasidharan.P.K, Mrs.Biji Ramakrishnan, Mr.Khadar, Mrs. Neena Rajagopal, Mrs.Vanisree Santosh, Miss.Shahana Sameer, and Mr.Srijith Mohandas (AlMulla Exchange) delivered felicitations to the newly formed office bearers.

Mr. Najeeb expressed vote of thanks for all those who participated in the Annual General Body meeting and active discussions held on reports and By-law amendments.
