Seminar organised for the parents of special need children

A seminar for parents of children with learning difficulties and behavior issues was conducted on 23/05/2015, Saturday at Indian central school, Abbasiya, Kuwait which was felicitated by Dr.Shanta Maria James,Principal of Indian Central School.



The topics addressed were 1)Solutions to problems faced by parents conducted by Mrs. Molly Diva. 2)Use of multisensory activities to teach differently abled children conducted by Mrs. Mini Kurian, special educator from CCIS, Kuwait, 3)Empowering parents to bring up the best of individuals for a better tomorrow, conducted by occupational therapists- Ms. Dorathomas, Famila Janet and Fazil Puthanathani.4)Importance of inclusion in normal school by Macbee Jerry, counselor .Indian central school who has been working relentlessly for the above cause for the past 2yrs.Principal Dr. Santha Maria extended a supporting hand without which this event would not have been possible. Parents and teachers from across Kuwait participated and benefited from the seminar.
