KOC put out "limited" office fire

Kuwait Oil Co (KOC) has managed to control a "limited fire" in one of its Ahmadi compound offices which resulted in "minor material damage", a company official said.

The fire was put out completely by use of on-site hoses and help from the Kuwait Fire Services Directorate Ahmadi branch, KOC spokesman and Deputy CEO for Administration and Finance Saad Al-Azmi told KUNA.

The fire left behind minor material damage and no casualties, he said, adding that a committee is set to be formed to investigate the cause of the incident according to company procedure.
