MES Conducted Annual Ifthar Meet

Muslim Education Society (MES) Kuwait Unit conducted Annual Ifthar Meet on Tuesday 30th June, 2015. It was held at Kuwait Medical Association (KMA) Hall – Jabriya.

The event was attended by MES Family members, leaders of different socio-cultural and religious organizations, well wishers and media persons. Prominent Islamic scholar from India Mr. Sabir Navas made a key note speech during the event. Earlier, the event began with the recitation of the versus from the Holy Qura’an by Br. Rayees Saleh Batha. MES Kuwait Unit President Mr. Sadiqe Ali welcomes the Audience and he spoke about various Health, Charity and educational activities conducted by MES in Kuwait and in India as well. FIMA President Mr. Siddeeque Valiyakath, MES Ex-President Mr. Mohd. Rafi delivered the felicitation speech.

A resolution passed by the gathering strongly condemned and deplored the heinous crime committed at Imam Al Sadiq Masjid that killed 27 innocent people and injured more than 200 people of various nationals. MES expressed solidarity to HH Amir, the ruling family and people of Kuwait and prayed Almighty Allah to protect this peaceful country from all dangers and from all enemies.

All the participants broke the fast with diets, fruits and juices. After Maghrib Prayer, a Grand Dinner was served. MES General Secretary Mr. Arshad, Treasurer Dr. Musthafa, O.J. Usman, Shamsuddeen, Ashraf Ayyoor, Ramees Saleh, Neslin, Noufal, Mujeeb, Resin, Saleh Batha and other EC Members coordinated the program.
