Proposal to increase iqama fine from 2 KD to 4 KD

General Department for Residency Affairs Director Major General Talal Ma’arafi has submitted a study to Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid on the proposal to increase the fine for violating the Residency Law — from KD 2 to KD 4 daily, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to report, the study was conducted after the concerned authorities noticed a remarkable increase in the number of Residency Law violations.
