Three days holiday for Eid Al-Adha this year

This year Eid Al-Adha holiday will be three days starting from Tuesday Sept 22 coinciding with the standing on Arafat Day until Saturday, reports Al-Seyassah daily, quoting officials at Civil Service Commission. Including Friday and Saturday, the public sectors will get a total of five day holidays.

According to daily, Friday which falls on the third day of Eid will not be compensated for, as widely speculated on social media, where people claim the holiday will be 10 days or more.

According to CSC official, the commission will be decisive in dealing with absentees who try to merge the holiday with weekend.
