Seven died last week in various traffic accidents

During the past one week, starting from July 26 to August 1, seven persons died in various traffic accidents across the country, informed the General Traffic Department.

The department also announced that it had carried out several surprise campaigns in all governorates during the same period which resulted in the deportation of 16 expatriates for driving without a license, detention of 97 individuals for grave violations, issuance of 40,461 tickets and impoundment of 2,533 wanted vehicles and two motorcycles.

The department stressed that it will continue its campaigns to control traffic and guarantee compliance with the law.
