Friends Of Kannur FOKE paid tributes to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam

Friends Of Kannur Expatriates Association, FOKE paid tributes to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on August 14, Friday 5 pm at Abbasiya FOKE Auditorium. The event also marks the 69th Independence Day celebration of India.

The event was presided by FOKE Vice President Sri Shymesh KK. FOKE General secretary Biju Antony welcomed the audience.

Sopanam Editor and Seva Darshan Organising Secretary Sri Vibheesh Thikkody made a commemorative speech on Dr APJ Abdul Kalam. In his speech, he urged all to work together to make Dr APJ's dream into a reality. Prominent socio-cultural activist Adv Smita Sumod also spoke on the occasion.

The event was attended by prominent members from the community including Siju Sudarshan from Saradhi Kuwait and J Saji from Kala Kuwait. FOKE Patron GV Mohan, FOKE Ladies wing chairperson Bindu Rajeev, Praveen Aduthila, Girimandiram Shashikumar, BP Surendran, Omanakuttan etc spoke on the occassion. Xavior Antony presented FOKE condolance message on the occassion. FOKE secretary Salim proposed vote of thanks
