Hail Kuwait

Kuwait is a second home to many of us NRIs living in Kuwait. Kuwait has welcomed our Indian culture on many fronts. If one looks around we find Indian cuisine restaurants almost in every other lane in most areas, Indian schools in all important areas, Indian cultural dance schools established here and there, Indian music schools in few areas.

Kuwait has welcomed our Indian professionals especially in engineering and in medicine proving that Kuwait has reposed confidence in the level of professionalism our Indian professionals have.

Kuwait has given fertile ground to many Indian business houses to establish themselves and grow from strength to strength over the years. Some of them have gained international status.

Kuwait has given us freedom to have our respective regional associations through which we gather and bond with our other Indian brothers and sisters in the associations’ public functions. Also we see some of the Kuwaitis attend such cultural functions. It us heartening to see this kind of cooperation.

But for Kuwaitis liberal outlook this kind of Indianness to be present in foreign shores is not possible.

Living and working in Kuwait has improved for most of us our standard of living both here and on our home country, it has given a sense of comfort financially to our families.

With so many benefits Kuwait is offering to us Indians, it becomes a solemn duty for us Indians to give back to Kuwait in our own way by working hard, sincerely and maintaining self discipline both in profession and in civil life.

Truly from our hearts we say Shukran Kuwait.
