Kuwait, a country with a small geographical area, but a global outlook, today celebrates its Silver Jubilee of Liberation. Firstly, my hearty wishes to all the residents of this beautiful country. Personally, many of the best moments of my life, till now, have been spent in Kuwait. For me to experience all this, I express my special gratitude to the country.

From the aurora of the magnificient Kuwait Tower and the supremacy of the Al Hamra Tower, to the golden sands of the desert and the gleeming lights of the city, Kuwait has the capability to quench the thirst of all kinds of people of the world. Being a place where people of all nationalities live, it requires to meet the needs of all those people and, needless to say, the country has everything to offer. The people of Kuwait are also exceptionally warm and welcoming to others who seek shelter in the country.

Kuwait has totally tranformed in the last few decades. Earlier, its economy was mainly because of pearl diving, but the discovery of Black Gold in Kuwait lead to rapid globalisation of the economy because of exceeding demand for fuel. Around this time, the currency of Kuwait transformed itself from the Indian Rupee, to the Kuwaiti Dinar. This led to huge inflow of expatriate population in the country. The travel of Kuwait from White Pearl to Black Gold has been one that completely changed the face of Kuwait.

On this.occasion of the National Day and Liberation Day, I consider myself privileged, to get this opportunity to pay respects to this country, that I call Home.
