4th IBA Mega Basketball Tournament Flagged Off

The curtain raised off for the 4th IBA basketball tournament 2016 in the blessed court of Indian central school on Thursday 14th of April 2016. The tournament was officially declared open by the Dr. Shantha Mariya James, Mr Eugene Koshy President IBA gave the presidential address highlighting on the importance of fair play and teamwork in the playfield and also said that the world of basketball returned with IBA hosting this tournament. Mr. Koshy Abraham, Vice Chairman IBA and Mr. Sibi Kurian Treasurer IBA were present in the opening ceremony. D.K. Dileep, Gen. Secretary IBA gave the vote of thanks. The four days Basketball extravaganza will continue till 17th April 2016. School Basketball, Women Basketball and Men Basketball are the main attractions of the tournament. More than 750 Participants are taking part in this mega event. All the final matches will be played on 17th April 2016. The closing ceremony on 17th evening 8pm will be enriched with the gracious presence of Chief Guest Mr. Siddeeque Valiyakath, Executive Director, Shifa AL Jazeera Poly clinic Kuwait, Mr. Jacob Varghese, CEO Blueline Company, Mr. Sony Sebastian, CEO, Fusion Shipping & Ligistics co and many social and sports personalities of Kuwait. The IBA Family welcomes all the Basketball lovers to witness the matches scheduled from 3pm to 8pm every day.
